Ren4Water embarks on its Field Trials Preparation Trip in Senegal!

Ren4Water is excited to announce the completion of its trip to Senegal, part of our ongoing effort to prepare a field test for the R4W Box, our solar-powered water pasteurizer with zero running costs and zero CO₂ emissions. This journey marked a significant milestone, allowing us to meet with our potential local partners, Economy of Francesco Senegal and Caritas Senegal, and gain valuable insights into the communities where field testing may soon take place.
 

May 2026, the opportunity to collaborate with local communities and make a difference together 

During our visit, we engaged in constructive discussions with local organizations and community leaders. We visited several villages considered as potential sites for the initial field test, to better understand the needs and challenges faced by communities regarding access to safe drinking water. The trip gave us a deeper appreciation for the unique context in Senegal and reinforced our commitment to working closely with local communities throughout the project. We know that the technology alone won't solve the problem: we want communities to take ownership of the water service, taking care of the machines and creating awareness around safe water practices. We look forward to the next steps, including planning for the pilot deployment and continuing to build the partnerships that will help us achieving our vision of bringing safe water to every home.
